Our Spring 2021 concert
In the Spring of 2021, we were still unable to rehearse in person, due to COVID-19, and no live concert was possible. But we decided to produce an original YouTube Premiere concert.
From past showcases to our April 2021 recording studio session, this concert has songs you’ve loved, and songs you can’t wait to love. With solos from Bryan Higgs, Roger Hurd, Valerie Morelli, and Jennifer Erdody, this concert was one to remember.
Chorus members met on Zoom to rehearse and joined each other in groups of five to record their parts at TY Recording Studios. Their recordings were then combined to create brand new renditions of a medley from “A Chorus Line”, and “Forever Music”, by Mark Hayes.
We think this concert is wonderful, and you can view it today.
This concert is free, but we ask you to donate whatever you can so that Souhegan Valley Chorus can keep providing you and your family with great music for years to come.
Our Fall 2020 CD
A subset of our chorus held on-line rehearsals via Zoom, and then recorded their individual tracks in groups of five at TY Recording Studios. Those recordings were then combined to create renditions of “The Many Moods of Christmas” by Robert Shaw & Robert Russell Bennett (Suites 1 & 4).
These resulted in a beautiful CD, which is still available for purchase on this website.
Our Spring 2020 concert
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we were forced to stop in-person rehearsals, and were unable to have a live concert.
So, we created a YouTube Premiere online concert of some video highlights of our past concerts.
We think it’s highly entertaining, and it’s still available for viewing!
