Eleanor Frodsham

Eleanor was born in Topeka, Kansas, and attended Topshaw High School there. She grew up singing in her church and school choirs, and continued to sing while attending college at Bryn Mawr. She graduated from Bryn Mawr with a B.A in Fine Arts, and then moved on to work in business in Boston. There, she met her soon-to-be husband, Fred Frodsham, married him, and then moved to Nashua, NH. They have three wonderful children, Frank, Freda, and Fern, who each attended the Nashua school system. Frank trained as an electrician, Freda attended college in Maine, and Fern is an active cosmetologist, working in Hollis.

In 2002, Eleanor discovered that she was missing singing, and decided to find a chorus with which to sing. She found the Souhegan Valley Chorus, and was immediately entranced by the wonderful people and programs offered by the SVC. She has been an alto in the chorus for many years, and throws herself into rehearsals and bake sales with unabashed enthusiasm and verve.

Her entire family attends the SVC concerts and enjoys then almost as much as Eleanor. She can’t wait to experience the joys and sounds of the next concert.
