Take the A Train
This isn’t our arrangement, but perhaps an example of a classic treatment of this Duke Ellington/Billy Strayhorn composition, with scat singing, might help us all get a feel for how our version is supposed to sound.

Here’s an example of a chorus singing our arrangement. Note that they inserted some brief scat solos — could we be brave enough to do that? — and did some very good interpretation of train sounds. Of course, they had the advantage of having accompaniment including drums, etc.
